Office Decommissioning

Hand back the keys on time, with nothing left behind.

Furniture, equipment, IT assets, and everything else in a space you're leaving — inventoried, sorted, and cleared on a schedule built around your lease-end date, so the space is ready for your landlord's walkthrough.

What happens next

Sample Lease-End Plan

Work back from the day you hand over the keys.

Decommissioning goes wrong when it starts too late. Every plan counts down from your lease-end date, so decisions about what to keep, sell, donate, or recycle are made while there’s still time to act on them.

Where Everything Goes

Every item gets a destination before removal day.

We inventory what’s in the space and work through it with you, so nothing goes to a landfill by default and nothing you need ends up in a dumpster.

01

Move it

Items going to your new space are tagged and moved with the rest of your relocation.

02

Store it

Furniture and equipment you will need later go to secure commercial storage.

03

Resell it

Furniture with resale value is sold through liquidation partners to offset project costs.

04

Donate it

Usable items go to schools, nonprofits, and community organizations.

05

Recycle it

Metal, electronics, and other materials routed to recycling streams.

06

Dispose of it

Only what is left after every other option, handled responsibly.

FAQ

Office decommissioning questions

We recommend starting 60 to 90 days before your lease-end date. That leaves time to sell or donate furniture instead of disposing of it, and to schedule specialty vendors before move-out week.

Furniture with resale value can be sold through our liquidation partners to offset project costs. Value depends on age, condition, and brand.

Computers, servers, and storage devices go to IT asset disposition vendors who provide data-destruction documentation for your records.

When your lease requires it, we coordinate qualified contractors to remove low-voltage cabling and tenant fixtures, scheduled into the same plan as everything else.

Yes. Many clients move first and have us clear the old space afterward. We can also run both at once so you only manage one project.

A completion checklist and photos of the cleared space, plus disposition records for what was resold, donated, recycled, or disposed of.

Have a lease-end date coming up?

The earlier we walk the space, the more of it can be resold or donated instead of hauled away.
